Welcome to Global Recruiters - Your Migration Consultants

Global Recruiters' (GR) mission is to help migrant workers find meaningful and rewarding jobs in Europe. The process is not just about job matching as the applicants are rewarded with a residency after completing their first work visa. Countries that we focus on are Poland, Coatia, Lativia, Lithuania, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

To achieve this, we first have to engage with and understand the needs of our employers so that we can offer them the skillsets they require to efficiently and cost effectiovely support their business. Normally, we collaborate with foreign work agencies that offer jobs that they already have and work through them. However, we are equally willing to work with direct company/business hiring to support employers who can manage the work permit processing locally.

The need for careful placement cannot be overstated as the importance of ensuring that both employers and employees have their needs met are vital in ensuring the sustainable relationship, delivering to each the positive outcomes they desire. Work agencies offering positions have to ensure that the workers not only continue to work for their clients after they arrive, but also have to take care of the workers interests throughout their work stint.

The Europe Scene

In Europe particularly, within Schengen countries, the rampant movement of workers across borders with impunity poses a problem to employers and the state as its hard to track employee runaways and manage their workforce efficiently. This underscores the need for employers to practice fair wage, welfare and development models for their workforce to mitigate the risk of employee disaatisfication and help keep them in their jobs.

Furthermore, employers have resorted to hiring illegal recruiters amongst their staff or employment agents to bring in new hires and this often entails a remuneration for the recruitment which often results in false promises of the work, wage  and residency prospect. These attract new hires who are duped in making the illegal transfer before they are legally allowed to move as stated in their work visas.

These illegal moves have also resulted in greater scrutiny of the foreigh workforce and at times resulted in visa rejections based on preceived high risk nationalities or employers who have faced more attrition and thereby suspected of improper recruitment practices. Some employers may have added to this statistic by allowing processing of work permits when they do not have acutal emplyment needs just to make an additional income paid by errant inetrmediaries or employment agencies who reward them for easch work permit.

Employers

Employers look towards enlisting committed and diligent workers who are prepared to work hard and deliver quality work. They need workers who understand their responsibilities and are prepared to deliver on it.

Asian workers are generally considered hardworking and loyal but their continued servitude is premised on being given a fair wage, enough overtime for them to earn more and decent living conditions.

In order for employers to achieve a productive workforce, they need to be able to retain their employees to fully develop their productivity and skills. In Europe, as mentioned above, this is a challenge but not so much in other countries. The employer would be wise to adopt a fair and equitable workplace culture that encourages productive workers with appropriate incentives, thereby creating a reliable workforce that is motivated, contented and committed to their jobs. There is notheing more powerful in ensuring staff retention than a happy workforce.

Similarly, workers depend on their employers to provide a safe and manageable work environment that offers them sufficient working hours that will afford them a decent living. The employers will need to pay all relevent taxes and offer them accommodation, either as part of the work package or based on a cost-sharing basis so that the workers who arrive can start their lives without too much additional cost burden.
